It’s not technically an entire meal, but this roasted cheesy asparagus recipe is a keeper and a great addition to any supper. Plus, it’s a great way to add some color and flavor to your plate.
Doesn’t that just look scrumptious? The garlic salt, pepper and mozzarella cheese all blend nicely to give you a savory side dish.
- 1 pound Asparagus (serves 2 heaping or 3 small servings)
- Garlic Salt
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Heat broiler. Line a baking dish with aluminum foil for easy clean up (you could also use a cookie sheet). Set aside. Wash and trim your bunch of asparagus. Pat dry with a paper towel and place in lined dish
- Season with garlic salt and pepper to taste. Broil asparagus, tossing once, until tender, 6 to 8 minutes
- Upon removing asparagus from the oven, sprinkle as much mozzarella cheese over top as you wish!
