Meet Erin

Erin

I’m a 25 year old with quite a few hodgepodge, oddball interests, namely writing, running and working out, avidly reading everything about Kate Middleton (ok, fine, I’m obsessed), investing and building furniture (from scratch, not ikea). None of it would be possible if it weren’t for my loving, supportive husband. No, really; he’s a military pilot (which by the way is my daytime job as well – military officer, not pilot). If it weren’t for our Air Force induced geographical separation, I wouldn’t have time for all my hobbies! So, thanks military and husband for helping me find my true passions in life! If it weren’t for you, I’d probably just get chubby from cooking and baking (also two of my past times) and be a stay at home wife.

  1. Wow. Last night at dinner my friend’s fiance asked if I had always been so active and I said no. It is because my husband is in the Navy and always away. I mentioned that I was going to do a blog post about it and how I came to be who I am today. Your About You section is a bit like what I was going to say. You have to make the best of any situation.

Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to reading more of your posts.

    • Yup – finding hobbies to fill your time is a must! That and a good attitude. Max and I live apart because the military can’t find jobs for us at the same base. We could annoyed or angry (or both), but instead we just have tons of past times to keep us both busy. (He just doesn’t blog about his hobbies like I do!) So glad my life’s story resonated with you 🙂 Thanks for visiting!

      • That is too bad you guys can’t find a place where you can work together. Getting mad doesn’t solve anything and life is too short for it. As long as you are both happy and can make things work that is probably the best for now at least.

I look forward to more posts from you. Have a great weekend.
